A Fine Finish for the Finnish: T Magazine Taps Secto Designs!
The New York Times’ T Magazine declares Helsinki “this year’s World Design Capital,” though the Style Map’s author Monica Khemsurov admits, “To locals, that’s pretty old news!” Front and center in the piece is our newest collection of lighting, Secto Designs—the company’s beautifully architectonic fixtures featured in Design Forum Finland, an entity that organizes awards and exhibitions to promote local designers, and to offer the products for sale.
As Secto Designs’ exclusive North American distributor, we at Global Lighting are thrilled to be making the lights available to design sophisticates in the U.S. and Canada. We’d love to hear if you’re as enamored with the luminous fixtures, made of Finnish birch and designed by Seppo Koho, as we are! To learn more about the company, founded by Tuula Jusélius, who sold her original company Aptero Oy to concentrate on lighting through Secto Design Oy, visit our post presenting her lively career to our readers.
